How to work: “Use the … every day” → internet. “Free software” after a verb of getting files → download. “Laboratory …” is machine. “Screen that shows results” → digital. Rules for polite online behaviour → netiquette. FAQ is module vocabulary but nothing in the paragraph asks for “frequently asked questions”.

Trap: Digital modifies screen or records; it is not a synonym of internet alone.

Reading comprehension. Read the passage, then answer.

At El Manar High School, the technology club meets twice a week. Members learn how a simple machine can be programmed, how to browse safe websites, and how to use a search engine without copying whole pages. The club leader, Ms Ben Youssef, always starts with netiquette: on the internet, students must write polite messages, protect passwords, and never share private photos of classmates. Last month the club built a small robot that carries books across the library. The invention is basic, yet it shows how digital tools and careful teamwork turn an idea into a working apparatus.

Some parents worry that teenagers spend too many hours online. Ms Ben Youssef agrees that addiction is a risk, but she argues that guided practice is better than a total ban. “Technology is not magic,” she tells the group. “It is a set of inventions that we must control with clear rules.”

Learners often write search engine as one blank when the paper splits search + engine, or they keep used to instead of switching to accustomed to + -ing.
