Writing: recommend a cultural trip or discuss space tourism
Writing — one paragraph (12–15 lines). Choose ONE task.
Task A — Cultural holiday. Your Irish penfriend is visiting Tunisia for one week. Recommend a short travel plan that mixes tourism and the arts: one city or region, one museum or show to book, and one free outdoor activity. Explain why this trip suits a first visit.
Task B — Space tourism opinion. Some billionaires buy tickets for space tourism while many families cannot afford an ordinary vacation. Write a short opinion paragraph for your school magazine: give one argument for space travel as adventure/science and two arguments against (cost, risk, fairness), then state your view.
Use holiday/travel vocabulary and at least three linkers. State the addressee clearly at the start.

Model — Task A
Dear Aoife, for your first holiday in Tunisia I suggest a short trip based in Tunis with one day in Sidi Bou Said. Firstly, you can book a guided visit to the Bardo Museum to see mosaics that explain our history better than any postcard. Moreover, in the evening you might attend a small music performance or art show if a festival is on the calendar. In addition, a free walk along the Sidi Bou Said cliffs gives you tourism without high costs and lovely sightseeing photos. This plan mixes culture and rest, so your travel week will feel full but not exhausting.
Model — Task B
Space tourism fascinates many students, yet it raises hard questions for society. On the one hand, a trip beyond Earth can support scientific research and satisfy the human desire for adventure. On the other hand, tickets remain exorbitant, so only the well-to-do enjoy the experience while ordinary families struggle to pay for a simple seaside vacation. Moreover, flights are still risky, and money spent on rockets could improve education or health on our planet. Therefore, I respect scientific curiosity, but I cannot defend space tourism as a fair form of holidaying today.
Rewards: clear choice of task; concrete details; unit words (holiday, travel, trip, tourism, vacation).
Trap for B: Do not drift into pure technology vocabulary (digital apps, robots) without travel/tourism words — this unit is holidaying and travel.
