Global warming is often described as a gradual increase in world temperatures caused by gases such as carbon dioxide that collect in the air and trap heat. Climate change, a related idea, points to wider shifts in global and regional weather patterns. Scientists warn that if society ignores the environment, extreme heat, rising seas and damaged crops will become more common.

Daily habits matter. Driving cars for short distances produces more atmospheric pollution than many people admit; factories and wasted energy add to the same problem. Model paragraph

Our streets and green spaces are part of a larger global environment, not a private backyard. Firstly, when plastic blocks drains and smoke fills the air, public health and local culture of outdoor life both suffer. In addition, every unused light and every unnecessary car trip adds gases that feed climate pressure worldwide. We can start simply: sort household waste each evening and walk or cycle for errands under two kilometres. If our society acts together, small habits become a real answer to global warming — and a cleaner world for children who inherit this town.

Rewards: local + global link; two actions; climate/environment vocabulary.
Trap: A speech about space tourism or hotel refunds is off-unit.

Méthode / Automatismes

Circle cause words (gases, pollution) and solution words (save, buses, sort waste). True/false items often twist increase/decrease or shared/only governments.

Do not import holiday-package details into an environment passage. Also avoid pure technology lists (robots, PlayStation) that miss climate and society keywords.
